Mall hasn't been great in 2 decades by ,
Opened in the 70's, Maplewood Mall used to be quite the attention with great shops. Can't blame Covid or even internet shopping, the mall has suffered for foot traffic since 2000. Problem is too that now it's one of the least fav malls in the metro area that also is home to the Mall of America, Rosedale, Southdale and more. Also I blame the city of Maplewood who didn't do much to attract new businesses to the area.
